Shut up your mouse, Obama was an Internet meme during 2014 Egyptian presidential election, in which a supporter of Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, an unknown Egyptian woman named Mona al-Beheiri expresses her dissent, in a broken English and heavy Egyptian accent, over United States President Barack Obama's approach to el-Sisi and Egypt:〔()〕 Following this short interview, Mona al-Beheiri became a well known persona, not only in Egypt but throughout the whole Arab world, and the video became viral, as did remixes if it, and was called the 'Middle East's Joe the Plumber moment'. She was interviewed by many Arab news outlets, and appeared on talk shows.
